Unless you have had a major injury, like plastic surgery to the head or something of that nature, you havent been as close as i have to a major bodily injury like i was today goin to play b-ball>today, Andi, Andrew, Chris, Taylor, Danny and I were going to play basketball down at the gym>however, it was like a two hour wait on the court, so Danny suggested goin down to Lock&Dam park to play>so, we all piled into Chris's '01 Durango with him driving, Danny in shotgun, Taylor behind the driver, Andrew behind shotgun, Andi in the middle, and me on her lap, for gender sake>dangerous, isnt it??>anyhow, we are goin down Arkansas Ave. and Danny shouts, "Go right!!!" and Chris is halfway through the turn>not good>he tries to make the turn, and a Durango cant make a turn like my Sonata or a minivan>well, he takes out a ONE WAY sign and a ROAD DIVIDES sign and one hits the windshield and puts a good size beating into it>by this time Andi has a hold of me and Danny has his arm across the division between the seats, so i am not a human javelin>had we hit a car, I would be in the E.R., possible O.R. right now, and not writing this due to me going through a windshield>back to the story, the Durango is beat up, and the only major damage is the radiator and the windshield>everyone was fine, the only minor problem was Danny caught a small piece of windshield in the eye (he is fine, he got it out) and some other pieces on his legs and arms (no major cuts)>well, by the grace of God, Amy (Andrew's girlfriend) pulled up and Andi's brother pulled in a minute or so before the police got there>with some quick plans, four were in the truck instead of six that were there>i know it is a bit dishonest, but to help out Chris we did it>anyhow, everything is ok except for the Durango, but is easily fixable>this being only my second wreck (first was a four-car rear-ending in which i was lead car), i was a bit apprehensive when we were riding by to Turner with Amy>anyhow, just thought i would share this with everyone>later
